What You Will Do
\n• Lead U.S. retail business development efforts to secure new partnerships with mass-market retailers, national chains, specialty retailers, and key regional accounts (e.g., Target, Walmart, CVS, Kroger, buybuy BABY, etc.).
\n• Develop and execute a multi-year channel expansion strategy aligned with Grownsy’s U.S. growth goals and P&L targets.
\n• Build and manage long-term relationships with retail buyers, category managers, and key executive decision-makers.
\n• Lead full-cycle negotiations for retail agreements, including pricing, trade terms, marketing commitments, and supply chain coordination.
\n• Partner closely with internal teams (marketing, product, e-commerce, operations, and supply chain) to support successful product launches and ongoing channel performance.
\n• Monitor channel performance, forecast sales, and proactively identify opportunities to drive sell-through and optimize retail partnerships.
\n• Stay current on retail industry trends, retailer initiatives, and competitive dynamics to inform business strategy.
\n• Provide regular business updates, sales reporting, and strategic recommendations to company leadership.
\nWho You Are
\n• 8+ years of progressive experience in retail sales, national accounts, business development, or channel management, preferably within CPG, consumer electronics, or juvenile/baby products.
\n• Proven success in securing and growing national retail partnerships with U.S. mass retailers such as Target, Walmart, or comparable national chains is required.
\n• A strong existing network and established relationships with retail buyers and category managers are highly preferred.
\n• Experienced in both new business development (a "hunter" mindset) and ongoing strategic account management (a "farmer" mindset).
\n• Strong analytical and financial acumen related to sales forecasting, P&L management, margin analysis, and retail sales performance.
\n• Highly collaborative and comfortable working across global, cross-functional teams in a fast-paced environment.
\n• An entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to work independently, build from scratch, and thrive in a dynamic company.
