A nationally recognized law firm focused on eDiscovery, information governance, and complex data-related legal matters is seeking an experienced attorney to join its growing practice. This is a fully remote opportunity available to candidates located anywhere in the United States.

The firm advises corporations and their counsel on sophisticated discovery matters, litigation readiness, information governance, investigations, and emerging issues involving technology and electronically stored information. The position offers substantive client responsibility, sophisticated work, and the opportunity to practice in a highly specialized, collaborative environment.

Candidates may be considered at the Counsel or Senior Counsel level depending on their experience.

Responsibilities

• Advise clients on complex eDiscovery, information governance, and data-management issues.
\n
• Develop and implement defensible strategies for preservation, collection, processing, review, privilege analysis, and production.
\n
• Counsel clients regarding discovery obligations, proportionality, litigation readiness, and defensible workflows.
\n
• Lead or support complex discovery matters, internal investigations, regulatory inquiries, and related disputes.
\n
• Coordinate with clients, litigation counsel, technology professionals, vendors, and other stakeholders.
\n
• Draft discovery protocols, legal memoranda, motions, briefs, client communications, and other substantive work product.
\n
• Monitor developments in discovery law, privacy, artificial intelligence, and emerging legal technology.
\n
• Manage matters and workstreams efficiently while maintaining excellent client service.
\n
• Supervise and mentor more junior attorneys and professionals, as appropriate.
\n
• Contribute to client development, thought leadership, and practice growth.

Qualifications

\n
• J.D. from an accredited law school.
\n
• Active bar membership in at least one U.S. jurisdiction.
\n
• Substantial experience with eDiscovery, complex discovery, information governance, investigations, or related data-law matters.
\n
• Strong knowledge of preservation, collection, document review, privilege, and production obligations.
\n
• Experience managing significant discovery matters or advising sophisticated corporate clients.
\n
• Excellent legal writing, analytical, project-management, and client-communication skills.
\n
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fully remote environment.
\n
• Sound judgment and the ability to translate complex legal and technical issues into practical advice.
\n

Experience with technology-assisted review, discovery platforms, emerging artificial-intelligence tools, cross-border discovery, privacy requirements, or government investigations is particularly valuable.

Compensation

The anticipated base salary range for the Counsel position is $232,000–$285,000, depending on experience and qualifications. More senior candidates may be considered for a Senior Counsel position, with compensation based on experience and final level. The position also includes benefits and additional compensation consistent with the firm’s policies.
